Centennial Park is a beautiful green escape located near downtown Nashville and features a variety of unique structures including the famous Parthenon, which houses the large statue of Athena--a must see while in Nashville. The park was the home of the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition and today is full of spacious lush greenery with beautiful flowers and trees, along with a recreation center, and there is even a lake called Lake Watauga. The park is home to The American Artisan festival as well as many other cultural events, concerts, and events throughout the year.
